The Church Next Door was started in 1955 by a small group of people with a common vision to start a church for young families. Over the years, the church has grown and reached many across central Ohio. Throughout the years we have remained committed to a desire to experience God more fully in our lives, the belief that a relationship with Jesus Christ is transforming, a commitment to children and young people, and a desire to be a valuable participant in our community.
We offer multiple worship services every weekend, with many opportunities for everyone to be involved in the ministry. Come experience a modern, upbeat, and energetic worship service, along with messages every week to help you learn more about God and press into your faith. Our mission is simply to move people closer to God. Doyle has served as Senior Pastor of The Church Next Door since 1998.
He holds a Masters of Divinity Degree from Gordon-Conwell University. Pastor Jackson moved to Ohio in 1992 to serve as a youth pastor in Cincinnati, Ohio before coming to Columbus.

We want you to be totally comfortable when you visit The Church Next Door for the first time.
Whether you're a longtime follower of Jesus, a new believer, or just someone with questions, we want you to know that you're welcome here.
At the beginning, a live band will sing a few songs.
The words to the songs will be projected on a screen and we hope you'll sing along, but it's not a requirement.
We use this music as a way of expressing our love for God and the truth of who He is.
There will be a time of transition after the music and then the Pastor will give a teaching from the Bible.

Children's Ministry is now available at all our weekend services on Saturday at 5pm and Sunday at 9:20 and 11am!.
After your child is checked in, and they get their name tag, you can drop them off in their classroom.
Be sure to keep the "Parent Tag".
You will need this to pick them up after service is over.
If we need you for anything during the service, we will post your child's number on the big wall in the sanctuary, or if you would like, we can send you a text message.
Park in the visitor parking spots up front and come in through our main lobby.

Grounded is an exciting and relevant environment specially tailored for Middle and High school students.
Join a live worship experience, life-lessons, snacks, games and heartfelt small group discussion.
We explore what it means to follow Jesus and learn how God can influence every decision we make!
Our volunteer leaders have one goal in mind: moving students closer to God.
And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord's holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.
Join a live worship experience, life-lessons, snacks, games and heartfelt small group discussion.
We explore what it means to follow Jesus and learn how God can influence every decision we make!
Our volunteer leaders have one goal in mind: moving students closer to God.
And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord's holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.

We go out into Hilliard, Galloway and Columbus bringing gifts and random acts of kindness to the neighborhood.
We love to serve our friends in the community and build meaningful relationships.

In Nairobi Kenya we have helped over 400 pastors plant churches.
We also funded and built an orphanage in Loi tok tok, Kenya and supported pastors and churches in India and Belarus.
