The company's founder, Arnold G. Hoehner, worked for the original Tilt-A-Door Company in Detroit Michigan.
The company produced a one piece light weight aluminum tilt up door that had a unique counter weight system, which at the time was both innovative and durable.
To this day, Tilt A Door still services and installs one piece aluminum doors as well as wood, steel and fiberglass sectional doors; stainless steel doors, glass doors, wrought iron doors, door operators, gates, and gate operators.
