18 Lumber was founded by John Dobrzynski Sr. in 1965.
John and his son Joe employed their cousin Ed along with other family and friends to embark on a journey to provide the community with excellent customer service with a quality product for a reasonable price.
In 1968 they were joined by John's oldest son John Jr. and the business expanded to making free local and prompt delivery a priority that remains a major concern today.
In 1985 John Sr. passed away but not before he ensured the tradition of excellence was to be continued by his two sons.
