If you'd like to keep up with us but aren't able to attend in person, please check us out on Facebook. We meet at 10:30 am Sunday morning and study the Bible in an interactive discussion format. Coffee and other refreshments are always available. We gather at 11:30 am on Sunday mornings to worship corporately through both singing and the preaching of the Word of God.
Our music is a mix of both traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs. Sermons are always scripturally based, gospel centered, and practical. Your children will always have fun and learn about Jesus when they come to Church of the Open Door. Children's services are available during both Sunday School and the worship service. We are a non denominational evangelical church in Lodi, Ohio who hold to the Doctrines of Grace.

Our commitment at Church of the Open Door is to a Statement of Faith, which we summarize as evangelical, Reformed, and continuationist.
The entire bible, including all 39 books of the Old Testament and 27 books of the New Testament, are the God-breathed, inerrant written Word of God.
These books are without error in all they teach and affirm and provide the entire written revelation of God necessary for belief in and service of Jesus Christ.
The scriptures are the only rule of faith and practice for the believer and all doctrine must pass the test of scripture to be considered valid and binding to the believer.

Since the year 2000, Mission to Amish People (MAP) has provided high-quality assistance to members of the Amish community who are trying to integrate into English communities.
As we have grown, we've added a number of helpful services, which are available to both Amish and former Amish people.

Is there anything wrong with either of those things?
Not inherently, no.
Those things are all good, but they still don't define why we are here.
