I love all the programs they offer, the kind of people they employee, and the top-quality coffee keeps me coming back!

Our Mission: Prevention, intervention, restoration for individuals and families through bringing people together.
The Open Door is made up of 9 board members and many volunteers who all bring a diverse selection of education and experience.
Coming together, we work hard to creatively and effectively meet the needs of the local community, focusing on strengthening families.
Our services meet people at all stages of their journey with programs to help prevent crisis by mentoring and teaching life skills, intervention programs to walk with people during crisis, and programs of restoration to allow for success once through a season of crisis.
By some estimates, as many as 9 million children have no caring adult in their life.
As schools have tried to fill some of those roles, studies show that school-based mentor programs are less successful than community based mentor programs.
With a partnership between schools, faith-based organizations, and community based programs, students can find an increased support system.
Youth with mentors have higher rates of high school graduation.
They find more self-confidence, self esteem, and are able to create big goals for themselves.
By consistently giving once a month, you can join our Sustainers Program!
These supporters help to sustain us throughout the year so we can spend the majority of our time focused on impacting our community through mentoring, rather than spending so much time fundraising and seeking additional funds.
To thank our monthly donors, we offer a free coffee each month and extra perks!
