Cynthia Fields began the business that would one day become The Well-Dressed Window in 2000, in a tiny spare bedroom with a home sewing machine.

Our client had this beautiful antique tester bed stored away in the attic, in good shape but in desperate need of new hangings.
A move to a new home presented the perfect opportunity to showcase the bed in a room designed around it.
After locating the historically accurate fabric, the client asked us to recreate the original draping and bedskirt.
