Both Ashok and Paul were colleagues working as a process technology engineer with the prominent Silicon Valley computer chip manufacturer, Advanced Micro devices (AMD) in Sunnyvale, California for several years. In 2013, Ashok and Paul began to consider business opportunities in San Jose.
