Red Door Lodge, located in Homer's Central Business District is a work in progress. We began transitioning some of our apartments into seasonal day/week studio rentals during 2018. And, while our exterior remains 80'ish in style and appearance, we now have ten uniquely remodeled studios - each offering, beds for 2 to 4 people, either a full or micro kitchen with tools, and a private bathroom.
We also have a public coin/op laundry on site. With the convenience of being a "Tiny" Home-away-from-Home in the heart of Homer, our studios offer the perfect privacy for relaxing after a long day of fishing, hiking or sightseeing, while you are only a few minutes walk to breakfast/lunch diners, excellent evening restaurants, bars, grocers, galleries, unique shops, and the beach.
At Red Door Charters, our captains are experienced in our local waters and deliver some of the best fishing experiences guests can hope for in Homer, Alaska. Our boats include our tried and true Tuff Stuff, a 34-foot Bertram that is perfect for a more spacious and comfortable ride that also delivers trophy, full-limit tours.
