In 1968, John Bellart, president and owner, made a bid to purchase a small window manufacturer in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Already owning a successful electrical contracting business, and several bowling centers in the Milwaukee area, John and his partner saw a "window" of an opportunity. They purchased the company, moved it to Milwaukee, and founded Unlimited, Inc. Unlimited, Inc. began by producing only one window line: a steel basement window for use in poured concrete walls.
The business was prosperous for the two entrepreneurs, even as it was only a side interest. The company remained only with one product until 1980. Seeing further potential in the window industry, John and his partner purchased the dies for a line of aluminum storm windows, and began production in 1980. This proved to be a successful venture, and the company had to move from Milwaukee, to its current location in Oak Creek in 1983.
Through the 80's, Unlimited, Inc. grew at a rapid pace, adding vinyl storms, vinyl prime windows, and other products to build on their tremendous success.

Typically, vinyl windows are made out of a compound known as polyvinyl chloride, or PVC.
In general, PVC can be difficult to push through the dies, in order to make the extrusion.
To aid the PVC through the dies, plasticizers are added to make the compound more pliable.
While plasticizers aid in the production of the extrusion, they can have some adverse side effects as well.
Plasticizers can make the vinyl itself very dense and brittle, thus making the final product susceptible to cracking and the effects of ultra-violet light.

Depending on the atmospheric conditions, this water may appear as fog, droplets, or frost.
Excessive amounts of condensation may drop, drain, or adversely affect a windows appearance and integrity.
This may cause wood surfaces to peel, swell, or rot while metallic surfaces may rust or corrode.
Condensation forms on a window as warm, moist air touches the cold glass and frame components.
Since cold air "holds" less moisture than warm air, water forms on the window surface.
Because windows are a visible sign of this phenomenon, they are blamed for condensation problems.
