When we moved to our current location to rent a building for services, American Canyon was an un-incorporated part of Napa County between Napa and Vallejo. We were thankful to have a gathering place to call home for this young church. Greg Escher was the lead Pastor. Alan Brazell was his associate. As faithful men and women, like Ken and Debbie Sanders, Greg and Sue Straw and others shared a vision for this new church.
In the Summer of 1993, Greg and Val Escher moved on to Pastor another Open Door Church in Novato. Alan became the lead Pastor with Greg Straw and Ken Sanders serving as Elders. God blessed us and the city. We are thankful for God's abundant provision through the years and the many people who have been a part of Open Door. We are looking forward to many more years of fruitful service.
Our desire is to be a spiritual home where people can come and experience God's love through times of worship, fellowship, teaching and prayer. We want to see people grow, mature and bear fruit that honors God!
