Nancy Nelson is a native Californian.
Born in the San Fernando Valley, she grew up in Huntington Beach and raised a daughter in the beautiful South Bay beach cities.
Her interest in textiles started at a very young age with sewing clothing and then evolved into home furnishings.
She started sewing bedding and pillows for friends and family while working as a flight attendant.
In 1998 she started designing, manufacturing and selling pillows in a local home furnishings store and it was just a matter of time before she discovered window treatments which has become her signature area.

I had the daunting task of selecting draperies and fabrics for six rooms after a home remodel.
I do not claim to have strong design sense and needed a partner in this project who would be able to interpret my taste and offer me guidance.
Nancy and Shannon were great listeners and very patient.
I spent a lovely day in the warehouse pouring over sample books, and matching paint colors.
Every detail was meticulously considered.
