Comal Next Door is a growing group of traditional Mexican taquerias with locations in Berkeley and Oakland. Comal opened in Downtown Berkeley in 2012. A few years later, when our next door neighbor Phil's Sliders decided to close up shop, we jumped at the chance to open an all-day taqueria - a sidekick to the original mothership.
Comal Next Door opened in Berkeley in 2018 and quickly established its own identity as a neighborhood fixture, serving burritos, tacos and tortas as well as housemade aguas frescas, salads and more.And now you can add one of Comal's classic cocktails (including our Margarita and Jack Satan) in 16oz or 32oz bottles to your pickup or delivery order.
Both CND locations are open daily from 11am-8:30pm for pickup and delivery plus limited self-seating on site. We are open daily from 11am-8:30pm in Berkeley and Oakland for pickup and delivery plus limited self-seating on site - thanks for your support during these challenging times!
