An energy-efficient home is important for several reasons.
First, energy-efficient home costs less to heat and cool, which means you pay less with every energy bill.
Next, a well insulated home is more comfortable year round for you and your family.
Third, an energy-efficient home is more environmentally sound because fewer of the world's resources will be used for heating and cooling.
And, last, an energy-efficient home has greater resale value.
You can learn more about the benefits of proper insulation and air sealing here, and about the benefits of energy-efficient windows here.
With the extreme weather we've been having I thought I might have the insulation checked in the attic of the house I bought about 4 years ago.
Even last summer I was concerned because my a/c unit would not turn off, sometimes for several days.
My mother and I had been comparing electricity bills and her house is three times the size mine is, yet my bills were twice what hers are.
I remembered seeing your company on Dirty Jobs and after viewing your website I contacted your office about different options and pricing.
Today, consumers are focusing on the environment more and more each day.
This is a very important concern when building a new home or reinsulating an existing home.
Cellulose spray insulation is a green alternative to traditional insulation materials.
Cellulose insulation helps consumers cut down on this damage to the environment.
Cellulose is made from recycled material with absolutely zero waste.
The material is very dense and therefore making air harder to escape from your home.
Cellulose requires fewer natural resources and less energy is used when the material is being manufactured.
Spray foam is a very effective way to provide solid energy efficiency to your home.
It completely encloses the structure, providing a solid, unbroken barrier against outdoor temperature extremes.
This barrier shields the inside of your home from the worst of the heat and cold, which in turn means your heating and cooling needs are greatly reduces - resulting in an energy savings and greater year-round comfort to you.
The solid seal isolates the interior temperature from the outside fluctuations.
Homeowners are always looking for ways to make their homes more energy-efficient.
Along with insulation, windows play an important role in keeping our homes warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
It is important to keep the heating and cooling bills low in the home, and to do this homeowners should make sure the windows are energy-efficient.
Homeowners look first and foremost for beauty.
The windows come in a variety of colors, designs and glass options for more efficiency.
Other points are of course high-performance, durability, low maintenance and friendly to the environment.
