Growing up, Jason Wood had a friend whose family owned Michigan City Garage Door, a garage door sales and service company in Michigan City.
Soon after high school, he worked for the family.
Even as an adult, when he had a break from his full-time job, he would pick up extra hours.
In 2015, Jason returned to the company, and a year later he and his wife Kimberly bought the business.
Jason and Kimberly were high school sweethearts who met while students at La Porte High School.
They currently live in Michigan City and have two children: Henryk and Isla.
